Out of nowhere a label from Singapore sent us their latest
release which is the new album from Azure. These guys from
Sweden have already released three demos, one mini CD, two
promo CDs and two albums. So "King Of Stars Bearer Of
Dark" is their third album which was released before
one week through Pulverised Records. So as you can see Azure
is a pretty busy band all these years. Musically the two guys
deliver a pure version of death metal with an epic atmosphere.
For example you can sense this atmosphere in the front cover
but also mostly in their music. So from the first song to
the last one -don't forget that this album has eight tracks-
Azure offer as the purest version of death metal that there
is. Definitely they aren't the most extreme death metal band
and I believe that their music has some melodies too. Personally
I think that if the production was a little better then the
final result would be more massive and aggressive but nevertheless
even in this edition, Azure are able to show us what they
